Rollouts should take no more than 15 business days to complete if launching to both Rapid and Scheduled Release at the same time. Enhance your Google Keep notes on web with rich text formatting
Building on the rich text formatting options introduced to Google Keep notes on Android, we’re excited to announce the expansion of this to Keep on web. Now users can customize and add emphasis to their text through bolding, underlining, italicizing, and heading styles on web. | Rolling out now to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. | Available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts. | Visit the Help Center to learn more about creating or editing a note.
We’re pleased to introduce Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview, the latest evolution of our 2.5 Pro experimental model. 2.5 Pro Preview continues to improve on the execution of complex tasks and delivery of enhanced response accuracy previously found in 2.5 Pro experimental. Audio Overview in the Gemini app is now available in 45 additional languages
Earlier this year, we introduced Audio Overview for the Gemini app, and as of today, this feature is now available in 45 additional languages. Pre-configure Gemini app conversation history admin settings before they take effect
Starting this week, Workspace admins can pre-configure the new Gemini conversation history admin settings before they take effect for their Gemini app users (expected by the end of May 2025). By default, “Gemini conversation history” will be ON and ”Conversation retention” will be set to 18 months (inline with current behavior). | Learn more about the new admin setting.
Gmail will soon stop support for the 3DES encryption cipher for incoming SMTP connections
Starting May 30, 2025, we will no longer support the Triple Data Encryption Standard (3DES) for incoming SMTP connections. After May 30, 2025, email systems using 3DES for SMTP connections will be unable to deliver emails to Gmail accounts. | Learn more about support for the 3DES encryption cipher.
Granular OAuth consent in HTTP Google Workspace add-ons

Conduct in-depth two-way conversations with Gemini Live
The Gemini mobile app now supports voice conversations for Google Workspace users. The “Live” feature leverages Gemini’s multi-modal capabilities allowing you to ask questions and receive spoken responses in a selection of natural-sounding voices. | Learn more about Gemini Live.
Gemini app reporting now available for all Google Workspace for Education customers
