Stadia Savepoint: October updates

It’s time for another round of our Stadia Savepoint series, recapping the new games, features and updates on Stadia.

In October, Stadia Pro subscribers claimed and played the more than 30 games in our growing library of titles. That included newly-added Pro games like Hello Engineer, which is available First on Stadia with State Share support, plus DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure, Cake Bash, Mafia III Definitive Edition and Control Ultimate Edition. On top of that, Pro subscribers had access to Free Play Days for Borderlands 3 and Dead by Daylight.

New games on the Stadia store teleported players to a massive, open-world multiplayer sports playground in Riders Republic, while others trained to become the most powerful fighters in the universe in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT. Stadia players were also the first to take on Anton Castillo’s regime in the action adventure game Far Cry 6, playable instantly at launch with no downloads.

A gif includes the title screen of DOOM Eternal, combat shotgun gameplay, and red and purple slides that say to compete with friends using State Share support.

October also marked more than 25 games on Stadia that support platform features like State Share, Stream Connect, Crowd Play and Crowd Choice. With State Share added to DOOM Eternal’s Horde Mode, Crowd Play in Serious Sam 4, permanent Stadia store categories, and new Help Center articles, there are more resources than ever to help you change the way you play your favorite Stadia games.

October also brought new Stadia features for players:

The HUMANKIND direct touch menu shows instructions and diagrams entitled "Tap" "Drag" and "Hold".

Stadia Savepoint: January and February updates

It’s time for another update to our Stadia Savepoint series, recapping the new games, features and changes for Stadia.

So far in 2021, players have traveled the world over in the spy thriller HITMAN 3, and they’ve gone long for touchdown passes in Madden NFL 21. They’ve brawled in 16-bit action in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World™: The Game, and they’ve discovered the dark secrets of an ominous world in Little Nightmares II, available now in Stadia Pro. Subscribers to Stadia Pro also gained instant access to play new games like Hotline Miami, Figment and Enter the Gungeon on top of the existing library of Pro games available to play as soon as you sign up.

It's as simple as taking a capture in-game and a game state will be automatically attached. Share the state via link to give friends the chance to try the same mission or custom level, beat your high score or experience new in-game content. Try it now across the entire HITMAN - World of Assassination trilogy as well as PixelJunk Raiders (play for free in Stadia Pro). State Share will be coming to more games soon.

Hitman 3 - Now available for purchase on the Stadia store.

Play a custom game state in HITMAN 3 with State Share by clicking here to play on Stadia. You’ll need to own HITMAN 3 to use this link.

If you haven’t already, try free games like February’s new Crayta: Starter Edition, which allows everyone on Stadia to create games, share them with friends and play community creations at the click of a link. Other free games on Stadia include Destiny 2 and Super Bomberman R Online!

More than 100 games are coming to the Stadia store in 2021, including FIFA 21 (March 17), Kaze and the Wild Masks (March 26), Outriders (April 1) and Judgment (April 23). We’re also looking forward to jumping into Far Cry 6, Riders Republic and First on Stadia games like Hello Engineer.
