Today we’re announcing the v1_2 release of the Google Ads API. With this version, you’ll continue pointing to v1 as your endpoint; however, you'll need to update your client libraries in order to use v1_2 features.

Here are the highlights:

• Simulations. Added simulations (equivalent to Bid Landscapes in the AdWords API) for campaign criteria, ad group criteria, and ad groups.
• Reporting.
  • Added metrics for Local Campaigns equivalent to the Per Store Report in the Locations tab of the UI.
  • Added new LandingPageView and ExpandedLandingPageView resources (enhanced version of Landing Page Report in the AdWords API).
  • Added a new PaidOrganicSearchTermView resource (equivalent to Paid Organic Query Report in the AdWords API).
• Ads. Added AppEngagementAdInfo for managing App Campaigns for Engagement and DisplayUploadAdInfo for managing various HTML5 ads.
• Recommendations. Added three new recommendations: CallExtensionRecommendation, CalloutExtensionRecommendation, and SitelinkExtensionRecommendation.
