Doodle 4 Google voting starts today

Earlier this year we announced the Doodle 4 Google competition for 2015, which gives New Zealand students the chance to have their version of the Google logo on our homepage for a day, and win prizes for their school.

We asked young doodlers to represent the theme: ‘If I could travel back in time I would...’ More than 7,000 students across the country grabbed their pencils and paints to take part.

Google volunteers then narrowed the field down to 100 finalists, and were also given a chance to pick their personal favourites.

From the 100 doodles shortlisted by our Googler volunteers, two external judges—Karen Walters and Liam Barr—helped to choose our winners. Now it’s up to the public to vote for their favourite in each age group and narrow it down to the top four.
