Beta Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Beta channel has been updated to 47.0.2526.25 (Platform version: 7520.17.0) for all Chrome OS devices. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements. Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days. A list of changes can be found here.

Some highlights of these changes are:
  • Lower power consumption while using FIDO U2F Security Key devices.
  • Added virtual beamforming device option for communications on Chromebooks with multiple microphones.
  • Improved YouTube CPU usage on the latest generation of Intel devices, a noticeable gain in 60fps.
