These ready-to-use Notebooks are designed to help high school and college students turn passive reading into active learning. With content curated from subjects like Biology, Psychology, and Business, you can instantly engage with complex material and accelerate your understanding.

Why you’d use it
These notebooks take the best of Openstax content and create engaging grounded experiences for students grounded in high quality textbook material. We recently launched Flashcards, Quizzes and Reports for Notebooks, so each of these notebooks includes extensive study tools that actively engage students in high quality content.
Getting started
- Admins:
- These features will be available based on the respective admin console settings:
- NotebookLM: Teachers and students must be in a group or OU with NotebookLM set to On. Use our Help Center to learn more about turning NotebookLM on or off for users.
- End users:
- This feature will be available by default if NotebookLM is enabled by your admin.
Rollout pace
- Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains: Extended rollout (potentially longer than 15 days for feature visibility) starting on September 3, 2025.

- Available to Workspace customers with access to NotebookLM. Visit the Help Center to learn more about NotebookLM features & access by Workspace edition.
