Google Voice calls between many European numbers are now included in Google Voice licenses
Quick summary
Beginning February 8, 2022, calls from European Google Voice numbers to mobile and landline numbers in many European countries will be included with the cost of the Google Voice license.
Previously, these calls were subject to domestic and international rates. This change will reduce the cost of staying connected with your colleagues, partners, and customers distributed in Europe.
Getting started
- Admins: No action required. If your domain has paid calls disabled, this will no longer apply to European calling. Visit the Help Center to learn more about how Google Voice billing works and controlling paid calls by users.
- End users: Visit the Help Center to learn more about making international calls with Google Voice. For more information on the updated calling rates, refer to the Google Voice Calling Rates.
Rollout pace
- This feature is available now for all users with European phone numbers.
Availability
- Available to all Google Voice Starter, Standard, and Premier customers

Set custom rules for incoming Google Voice calls
Quick Summary
- Forward calls from specific contacts to your linked phone numbers or directly to voicemail,
- Opt to screen calls from specific contacts,
- Set custom voicemail greetings for specific contacts,
- Apply rules for all your contacts or specific groups within your contacts
Getting started
- Admins: There is no admin control for this feature.
- End users: These settings will be OFF by default and can be configured at voice.google.com/settings. Visit the Help Center to learn more about setting up your phone to make and receive Google Voice calls, using custom call forwarding, and screening your Google Voice calls.
Rollout pace
- Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains: This feature is available now for all users.
Availability
- Available to all Google Voice users.

Block shares option added to Google Drive sharing emails
Last month, we announced that you could now block shares from another user in Google Drive. es from another user in Google Drive. Now, we're also adding the option to block a user from the sharing notification emails sent from Google Drive. Delegate Information is now available in Gmail Log Search
Email log search now indicates when an email was sent on behalf of the user by a delegate. In cases where a delegate sent the email, the delegate will be listed, along with the sender, in message details in email log search. Delegate information will only be available on emails sent after this change rolls out. | Available to all Google Workspace with Gmail enabled. | Learn more.
New font in Workspace improves accessibility for vision impaired
Now there's a new font in Workspace optimized for vision impaired users. When you create or want to read a document, set the font to Atkinson Hyperlegible for improved legibility.

- End users: This feature will be OFF by default for the Caller ID feature and can be enabled by the user from within Settings. Visit the Help Center to learn more about changing the caller ID for incoming calls
Rollout pace
- Missed Call Reason: Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains: Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting July 15.
- Call Drop Reason and Redial: This feature is available now for all users.
- Caller ID: This feature is available now for all iOS users.
- Delete multiple SMS messages at once: This feature is available now for all users.

- Available to all Google Workspace customers who subscribe to Google Voice, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers.
